Advancement via Individual Determination

AVID’s mission, is to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and success in a global society.

AVID incorporates strategies like WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading), organizational and study skills, and college and career exploration.

AVID aims to increase college acceptance rates, improve academic performance, and develop essential skills for success in higher education and beyond.

 GenTech 

GENTECH is a hands-on collaborative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program that includes Robotics, Computer Programming, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) 3D printing, AI and more. Students are taught to think critically and apply STEM concepts in the class and in competition. 

 

 Honors – Accelerated 

We offer Honors or Accelerated classes for all four core content areas. Students may take as many of these more rigorous classes as they choose.
